YRT's Ride to GO program offers you convenient and affordable travel to and from GO Train stations in York Region. Get a break on your income tax just for riding YRT. YRT@Work (NEW) The YRT@Work Pass Program allows employers, who have enrolled in the program, to provide their employees with discounted YRT Adult Monthly Passes. Transit Assistance Program (NEW) York Region is piloting the one-year Transit Assistance Program (TAP) to help make transit more affordable for eligible residents. |
Policies |
Includes policies for all fare media and fare integration programs. As of July 1, 2017, YRT has removed the fare zones across the Region. Proof of Payment and Transfers Learn about our two-hour fares, Viva's proof-of-payment system and our transfer policy. If you are a high school student, you are eligible to pay YRT Youth fares as long as you show a valid high school student ID card. Support Person Assistance Card YRT customers who need to be accompanied by a support person are required to carry a YRT Support Person Assistance Card. |

Prices |
View current YRT fare prices. Search for your closest YRT fare media agent. YRT Monthly Passes offer unlimited travel for the calendar month, are transferable, and can be used by anyone during the month they are valid. The GTA Weekly Pass is your best fare option if your trip involves two or more transit systems, five days a week or more. If you are travelling on a YRT Express route, you must pay an Express fare supplement of 50 cents, in addition to regular YRT fare. |
